Clay Walker set to co-host the 4th Annual Country Weekly Fashion Show & Concert


Clay Walker is set to host the 4th Annual Country Weekly Fashion Show & Concert along with GAC’s Suzanne Alexander as emcee.  Walker is experiencing immense success with his current single, “She Won’t Be Lonely Long,” off his highly anticipated new album of the same name quickly climbing the charts.  To date, Walker has sold over 11 million albums, had 11 #1 hit singles, and four RIAA-certified platinum and two gold albums under his belt.
 
Alexander, host of GAC’s On The Streets and GAC Nights exclaims, “I look forward to being a part of their (Country Weekly’s) Fashion Show every year as it raises money for such a great cause.”  Walker and Alexander join the talented list of participants that include Joe Nichols, Aaron Tippin, Pam Tillis, Julie Roberts and many more.
 
Nichols and After Midnight’s Blair Garner will kick off the event with an intimate conversation and a few songs beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Wildhorse Saloon on Tuesday, June 8.  The Fashion Show will begin at noon with acoustic performances to follow.  Tickets to the event will include lunch and start at $35, available on www.TicketMaster.com, with premium seating tickets for purchase on www.MusiciansOnCall.org.  Sponsors of the Country Weekly Fashion Show include Durango, Roper, Silpada Designs, and Lifetime Television. 

Musicians On Call is looking forward to the full week of activities during the 2010 CMA Music Fest.  Through its Nashville chapter, MOC brings live music to the bedsides of patients at five local healthcare facilities. With an emphasis on entertaining patients and lifting their spirits with a song, MOC has been fortunate enough to benefit from these events since the Nashville Chapter began in 2007.
